Change Makers

Changemakers Australia (CmA) is an incorporated national organisation which aims to support the growth of social change philanthropy in Australia.

Our mission is to encourage and resource people and organisations in the philanthropic world and beyond to focus on social and economic justice, equality for all, and environmental sustainability.

Social change philanthropy directs its support to activities that address the underlying causes of social ills, such as poverty, inequality, abuse of human rights and environmental degradation.

We are keen to work with foundations and individuals already engaged in philanthropy, as well as to support new people wanting to direct some of their financial resources to grants and organisations that make a difference.

• We identify and describe projects that have made a real and lasting difference.
• We run public forums and seminars that help identify possibilities for positive change through effective social change philanthropy.
• We provide links and other materials that help put people in touch with us and others who are also interested and active in social change philanthropy.
