Alistair Webster
Alistair Webster is the Woor-Dungin Project Manager, taking on the role after a number of years as a member of the Woor-Dungin Steering Committee.
He has worked for and alongside Indigenous people in a number of guises. As a student, Alistair managed The EastWeb Fund, a youth-managed sub fund of the Melbourne Community Foundation committed to supporting indigenous, asylum seeker and refugee communities across Victoria. At the same time, Alistair worked as a researcher on a project examining the important role of agreement making with indigenous communities in Australia, South Africa, Canada and New Zealand.
He has travelled and worked in Nepal, India, West Africa and Central America. All his work is focussed on tacking disadvantage, redressing inequality and building community capacity by supporting communities to develop dynamic solutions to the issues that confront them.
